Biography

 Sindhumathi Subramanian , a Fine Artist from India, who now resides in California, has always been passionate about drawing and painting right from her childhood made her pursue Graduation in Art. She finished her BFA Painting in the year 2015 in Lalit Kalakshetra under Bharathiar University, India. She Specializes in Still life, landscape oil paintings and flowers. She loves to explore something new in art which never stops her from experimenting. Every painting of her carries a beautiful story behind it, which makes it more interesting. She is open to many mediums like water color, pastels, pencils & charcoal and ink. Being open to different art forms has given her a broad perspective on the arts allowing her to mix different art forms together to create new style and unique works of art. Her paintings have been exhibited and sold since 2013. She has been in few galleries in India including Art Houz at Jenney's Club, The contemplate Art gallery and many local Art fairs. She has been  recipient of both National and International Art contest, which led her painting to be exhibited and sold at the show "Art Revolution Taipei" Taiwan. Her first Solo Show was "Flowers Show" in Codissia, India. She has been part of lots of group shows and Exhibits. She is also a Bharathanatyam(Indian classical dance) dancer.

She likes to be a part of Art education which led her to initiate an Art and Dance institute,"Sindhu Kala Sagaram" in India for kids and adults to provide students with additional opportunities to enhance their artistic capabilities and reach their fullest potential through creative expression, cognitive strategies and broad range of aesthetic and historical experiences.
